Lombok is an island in the West Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. It is part of the chain of the Lesser Sunda Islands, with the Lombok Strait separating it from Bali to the west and the Alas Strait between it and Sumbawa to the east.

ARES
Ares is a typical vegetable Lombok main ingredient comes from the stem or young banana stem . The taste of food prepared with coconut milk is quite unique , sweet and savory . Ares is a way of making the banana peel stems to leaves little inside. Make sure the banana tree trunks are used that do not have flowers . These sections thinly sliced salted , kneaded and washed thoroughly before being processed . Curry spices used as the coriander , cumin , galangal , garlic , onion , ginger and turmeric . The seasoning cooked with banana leaves that have been cut into pieces plus salt and sugar to taste . Ares vegetables can also be added to the meat . BLOAM
Tanjung Bloam is located in East Lombok, Jerowaru. To get there we we just have to go straight ahead from Tanjung Ringgit. It is a natural hidden paradise beach, thus we better call it exotic beach.
CIMODOK / CIDOMO
A Cidomo is a small horse-drawn carriage used on Indonesia’s Lombok Islands used instead of motorized transport for a traditional market at lombok island. Cidomo came from word of Cikar Dokar Motor. Cikar is a traditional transport for Indonesian traditional village. Dokar is a traditional carriage to mount some good to bring and it to traditional market. And Motor is motorized transport. Cikar and dokar is the name for the body and the horse. In Jakarta it’s mean andong. And motor came form the tire. It’s like a car, isn’t? ha ha ha ha ha. Some of unique name for this traditional transportations.
DESA SASAK SADE REMBITAN
Rambitan and Sade Village are the most interesting Sasak traditional villages where most of the inhabitants practise and maintain their traditional and cultural values.
The Sasak villages exist mostly on sloping hills, with the people living on farm produce and the rising of cattle. Rice and corn, their annual crops, can be cultivated only during the rainy season, with most families keeping animals such as chicken, goats, cows and buffaloes for the food the offer during the summer season.
Sasak villages are distinctively marked by grass-roofed-houses symmetrically constructed on wood frames and most with bamboo-walls. Bale is the construction for a living house, built with a single room functioning both as a sleeping room and kitchen. Lumbung is a curve-like construction functions as a rice store.
Most Sasak houses are built with a lumbung and some also include sekepat or sekenem, construction which functions as guest reception or meeting place.
Pujut, Rambitan and Sade Villages are located in the southern part of Lombok, some sixty kilometres from Mataram.
EKAS
Ekas in South Lombok is a sheltered reef break that has quite reliable surf. May-Oct (Dry Season) is the optimum time of year for waves. Offshore winds blow from the east. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell angle is from the south southwest. A right hand reef break. Best around mid tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Rocks are a hazard.
FESTIVAL BAU NYALE
Bau Nyale, or the Nyale Festival, takes place every year in the tenth month of the Sasak calendar at a time close to the full moon, it’s celebrated in February around 14th and 15th in the south coast beaches of Lombok. The most popular site for celebrating Bau Nyale is at beautiful Seger Beach near Kuta; an area called Putri Nyale (Princess Nyale) by the people of Lombok.
One week before this celebration, the accommodations in Kuta are fully booked with local and overseas visitors who want to see the Festival directly. The festival starts with many attractions such; Presean (people fighting), Adu Pantun a form of traditional poetry, where young people tease and with each other, competing to form verses in a ritual style.
GENDENG BELEQ
Gendang beleq is a dance and music performance from Lombok island, Indonesia. It is a popular performance among the native Sasak people.
The name gendang beleq is a Sasak language term, which means "big drum (big gendang)", as the performance is about a group of musicians playing, dancing and marching with their traditional instruments, centered around two big drum (gendang) players.
HUTAN MONYET PUSUK
Pusuk Monkey Forest is a nature that is in the Forest Forest neighborhood Rinjani, Lombok. Pusuk mean peak, this refers to the forest at the peak of Mount Rinjani.
